ALLERGIES
Allergies and asthma disease are a serious problem in Australia and have doubled in the lst 25 years. Around 1 in 3 Australians will develop allergies, about 1 in 10 will develop asthma.
HAYFEVER
Caused by airborne pollens from wind pollinated grass, weed and tree species, or by house dust mites, animal danders and mould spores all year round, Hayfever can result in poor quality sleep and fatigue.
DUSTMITES
Dust mites particles and their allergenic faecal particles occur throughout every house and can become airborne when disturbed. Highest concentrations in carpets, bedrooms and bedding.
MOULD
Indoor mould spores re a common cause of perennial hayfever, sinusitis, bronchitis and asthma. A quality air cleaner removes airborne mould spores and circulates the air thus reducing humidity levels.
ANIMALS
Domestic animals, especially cats, produce high allergen levels from their oily skin secretions. These allregens remain suspended in the air, even after the animal has been removed from the house or room.
CHEMICALS
Multiple Chemical Sensitivity (MCS) is an increasing problem. High quality carbon/alumina filters have the capacity to remove most chemicals, odours, gases, VOC's (volatile organic compounds) and smoke.
