Australia and New Zealand Blueair Warranty - 203, 450E & 650E models Only. (see alternative warranty below for other models).

STATEMENT OF STANDARD WARRANTY CONDITIONS

1. Purchasers Statutory Rights
The supplementary warranty terms set out below are additional to and in no way limit, vary or excluse any rights conferred by conditions or warranties imposed and required to be binding by statute. Your attention is drawn to the provision of the Trade Practices Act 1974 and State legislation which confers certain rights of consumers.

2. Supplementary Warranty
Airiononics Australia Pty Ltd t/as AirCleaners Australia are the importers of the Blueair range of air purifiers and warrants to the original purchaser from an authorized dealer, the following warranties:

Blueair warrants that your Blueair Air Purifier will be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of five (5) years from the date of purchase for normal DOMESTIC use and two (2) years from the date of purchase for COMMERCIAL use, providing that you have completed and returned your warranty registration and that the filters are replaced with original Blueair replacement filters at least once every six (6) months of usage. It is important that you retain your receipts of the replacement filter purchases to ensure your warranty claims are processed with a minimum of delay. The supplementary warranty does not cover replacement filters.
This warranty is given on the condition that Airiononics Australia Pty Ltd t/as AirCleaners Australia or any of its authorized service providers performs all service to the Blueair Air Purifier. In the event of a malfunction or failure of your Blueair Air Purifier, please contact your local dealer to obtain a return authorization.

AUSTRALIA: WITHIN FIRST 30 DAYS OF PURCHASE: Within the first 30 days of purchase Blueair will replace the defective unit at no charge to you and reimburse any shipping charges, providing such charges have been agreed and approved in advance by Airiononics Australia Pty Ltd t/as AirCleaners.

30 DAYS AFTER PURCHASE: After 30 days, Blueair's obligation and liability under this Limited Warranty is limited to repairing or replacing (at its sole discretion) the defective unit and paying only the freight cost of returning the unit to you.

NEW ZEALAND: Applies only to units purchased in New Zealand and not another country. Unless otherwise advised or indicated, at any time after purchase, defective unit must be returned to AirPurifiers New Zealand, 2/59 Carbine Rd, Mt Wellington, Auckland . Unless expressly agreed by AirPurifiers New Zealand, all shipping, freight, handling or insurance costs for warranty repairs are the sole responsibility of the purchaser. . Blueair's obligation and liability under this Limited Warranty is limited to repairing or replacing (at its sole discretion) the defective unit.

OTHER COUNTRIES: Unless otherwise advised or indicated, at any time after purchase, defective unit must be returned to AirCleaners Australia104 Bell St, Heidelberg Heights, Melbourne, Australia. All shipping, freight, handling or insurance costs for warranty repairs are the sole responsibility of the purchaser. (Unless expressly agreed by AirCleaners Australia). Blueair's obligation and liability under this Limited Warranty is limited to repairing or replacing (at its sole discretion) the defective unit.

To secure unit and prevent transport damage, all units should be returned in original outer and inner packaging, together with user manuals, accessories, invoices and warranty.

3. Exclusion for Supplementary Warranty
The Supplementary Warranty as set out in paragraph 2 above does not apply:
a) To any defect or failure attributable to accident, misuse, abuse, negligence, non-observance or operating instructions or local regulations on the part of the user, or to improper installation or connection to inadequate or faulty power.
b) If the filters are not replaced every six months (usage time) with the manufacturer's original equipment/filter type purchased from Airiononics Australia Pty Ltd t/as Air Cleaners Australia or its authorized dealers.
c) If the equipment has been serviced by a person not authorized by Airiononics Australia Pty Ltd t/as Air Cleaners Australia to do so or with non-approved parts.
d) If any serial number has been removed or replaced.
e) If the equipment is used outside mainland Australia or New Zealand except by specific agreement
f) If the equipment is repossessed under any financing agreement.

4. Subject to the Purchaser's statutory rights referred to in paragraph 1, Airiononics Australia Pty Ltd t/as AirCleaners Australia reserves the right to charge for any service not covered by the Supplementary Warranty.


In the event of a malfunction of your Blueair Air Purifier, Please contact Airiononics Australia Pty Ltd t/as Air Cleaners Australia (Australian Importer and Distributor of Blueair) on 1300 301 951 who will arrange servicing/repairs.

IMPORTANT:

  • If filters are not changed every six months (usage time), the effectiveness of the unit may decline and subject the unit to undue stress for which it was not designed. In such circumstances the warranty can be deemed invalid.
  • Filters used must be only genuine Blueair manufactured. Use of non-genuine or after market filters may void warranty.

This Warranty against defects for your newly purchased Blueair product is proudly prepared by IXL Home Pty Ltd of 1K Marine Parade, Abbotsford, VIC 3067, Australia. Telephone 1300 727 421.
1. (i) Where your product was purchased in Australia, the Australian Consumer Law extends you the
following rights:
a. replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss
or damage; and
b. to have the goods replaced if goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a
major failure.
(ii) Where your product was purchased in New Zealand, the Consumer Guarantees Act (CGA), extends to you the
right to have defective products (that are capable of repair in a reasonable time) repaired with a new or equivalent
current model free of charge, or repair the product at our cost, but such method of repair will be at our election.
Where the defect is substantial and can’t be repaired in a reasonable time, you may be entitled to a refund or
replacement of current or equivalent model free of charge.
2. IXL Home warrants that your product and related supply will be free from defects in materials and workmanship
during the warranty term. Your warranty term is twelve months commencing from the date of purchase. Warranty will be extended to five (5) years from the date of purchase for normal DOMESTIC use and two (2) years from the date of purchase for COMMERCIAL use, providing that you have completed and returned your warranty registration and you replace your filters with original Blueair replacement filters at least once every six (6) months. It is important that you retain your receipts of the replacement filter purchases to ensure your warranty claims are processed with a minimum of delay. The warranty does not cover replacement filters.
THIS WARRANTY IS CONDITIONAL ON IXL Home or any of its authorised service providers performing ALL services to the Blueair air purifier. In the event of malfunction or failure of your Blueair air purifier, please contact IXL Home to allow for the unit to be returned for repairs.
