IQAir has announced a new accessory item for the Atem Car and/or Atem Desk personal air purifiers that connects them
to any USB-C power outlets.
Allows connection of an Atem air purifier to:
• a car’s USB-C power outlet with minimum PD (power delivery) of 12V, 1.5 A, 18W rated output
• a power supply adapter with USB-C power outlet and minimum PD (power delivery) of 12V, 1.5 A, 18W rated output (e.g. a laptop power adapter)
• a power bank with USB-C power outlet and minimum PD (power delivery) of 12V, 1.5 A
Also included will be a USB-C to USB adaptor so that standard USB outlets can also be accessed with this cord.

Power Bank Compatibility
The Atem USB-C Power Cord was successfully tested with a wide range of power banks currently available in the market.
When choosing a power bank, ensure to look for the following specs:
• USB-C type outlet
• PD (power delivery) capability 12V, min. 1.5 A (Ampere)
• recommended power bank capacity: 10’000 mAh (better 20’000 mAh)
Firmware Requirements
The use of the Atem USB-C Power Cord requires a firmware FW 05.06 on the Atem air purifier and Atem app version 2.0.11 (release date late Jan 2023).
The firmware update for the Atem air purifier can be simply installed via the Atem smartphone app.
